Mr. James Haroutunian, Esq.JAMES HAROUTUNIAN


James Haroutunian, graduated from the HVAC Shop, in 1992, and continued his education at Bentley College where he attained his Business Degree in Marketing. He then attended Suffolk Law School and graduated, in 1999, at the age of 24. He established a successful law practice in his hometown of Billerica, MA where he resides with his wife, Amy, and his two. James specializes in Estate Planning, Real Estate, and Business Planning. James also writes a legal advice column for the Lowell Sun Newspaper. James is an active member of the Shawsheen Advisory Committee and provides co-op jobs for Shawsheen students. Jamie, as he is fondly known, served as the first President of the Shawsheen Valley Alumni Association.

Federal Agent,  Michael CorricelliMICHAEL CORRICELLI


Michael Corricelli graduated from the Electronics Shop, in 1986.
He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and continued on to earn his Master’s of Forensic Sciences Degree from George Washington University. Michael has also been awarded a Fellowship in Forensic Medicine from the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. He has worked as a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations and presently serves as a Postal Inspector with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service as well as an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice with the University of Phoenix. Michael is an active member of his community who has traveled extensively and has distinguished himself in many areas. Michael currently resides in Hershey, PA with his wife, Lisa, and two children.

Ms. April (Fitch) GraffeoAPRIL (FITCH) GRAFFEO


April Graffeo graduated from the Commercial Arts Program, in 1988, and went on to become a member of the New England Patriot’s Cheerleading Squad. She attended Blaine Hair School, Jingles of London Haircutting, and Aveda Business College. April established Indra Salon and City Spa, of Andover, which will celebrate its twelfth year in business. Recognized in the industry, as a highly successful award-winning salon, Indra employs 36 people. April’s clientele includes several celebrities such as Billy Costas and Candy O’Terry. The salon has raised over $13,000 dollars for local charities and has donated services to many more. April has also provided co-op jobs to Shawsheen students. April is married to Michael Graffeo and they have two children.



David Smith graduated from the Graphic Arts Program, in 1993, and went on to attend Northeastern University where he was All Atlantic Conference wide receiver his senior year. He graduated there in 1998, with a degree in Criminal Justice. He has distinguished himself in the U.S. Army where he has achieved the rank of Captain. He has served several tours of duty in Iraq, Kuwait, and Korea and is currently on active duty. Dave is well known for his illustrious athletic career at Shawsheen Valley Technical High School and made the Lowell Sun All Star Roster for three consecutive years. He currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife, Hui Chin and their son.

Dr. Eric BorsiniERIC BORSINI


Eric Borsini graduated from the Data Processing Shop, in 1991, and went on to attend the University of Massachusetts, in Lowell, where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree. He attained his Doctrine of Chiropractic Degree from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic. He currently owns C.A.R.E. Chiropractic, which represents the four names of his family; Cody, age 6, his wife Amy, Ryan, age 7 and Eric. Dr. Borsini treats patients of all ages with both chiropractic and nutritional supports. Dr. Borsini is also a diplomat of The National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is an active member of his community as President elect for the Greenfield Rotary Club and a member of the Greenfield Chamber of Commerce. Formerly of Billerica, MA, Eric currently resides in Greenfield, Ohio with his wife and family.

Mr. Steven UlissSTEVEN ULISS


Steven Uliss graduated from the Culinary Arts Department, in 1981, and continued on to study at Johnson and Wales in Rhode Island. Steve is the successful owner of three Firefly’s Bodacious Barbeque and Beyond Restaurants, located in Framingham, Marlboro and Quincy, MA. He is regularly seen on The Phantom Gourmet and has been seen on dozens of other television shows as well. Steve also played football at Shawsheen and participated in VICA. He currently serves on The Shawsheen Advisory Committee and remains close to many of his former teachers. Steve and his wife, Amy, reside in Ashland, MA with their two children

Executive Chef,  Brian Theurer BRIAN THEURER


Brian Theurer graduated from the Culinary Arts Department, in 1976. After graduation, Brian continued on with his education and attended Johnson and Wales Culinary Institute of America and Newbury College. He has served as the Executive Chef for the Café Escadrille for the past 22 years. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Epicurean Club of Boston and hosts numerous fundraising and scholarship dinners. He is a past participant of A Taste of Boston, which benefited the Anthony Spinezola Foundation. Brian sponsors apprenticeship programs for culinary students from Johnson and Wales, Culinary Institute of America and Newbury College.

Ms. Alita MacElhiney



Alita MacElhiney graduated from Business Technology in 1980 and went on to become recognized as a leader in business. After graduation, Alita attended Middlesex College and earned her Associates Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She then worked as a documentation assistant, network assistant/analyst, hardware/software administrator and principal product engineer for a number of software companies within the high technology business sector.

Alita is currently employed by Aspect Software as a Principal Business Consultant and maintains a customer support/decision system for approximately 300 users, around the world, spanning five continents. Alita serves as a General Advisory Member and is a supporter of the SVTHS Business Technology-Microsoft Office Certification Program. In addition, Alita is a “Wish Granter” and volunteer of the New Hampshire Make-A-Wish Foundation where she has improved the lives of countless children. Alita currently resides in Hudson, NH and is currently The Shawsheen Valley Alumni Association’s Treasurer.

Mr. Robert Peach



Robert Peach graduated from the Electronics Shop, in 1987, and went on to attend Northern Essex Community College. He continued with his education, taking courses at Northeastern University and Wentworth Institute and currently works as Vice President, Business Development for Intelligent Marketing, Inc. specializing in technical sales and marketing of commercial security and sound products. Bob serves on the Digital Product development committee of Tyco Fire & Security Access control and Video Divisions, as well as The Charles River Ventures-Security Technology evaluation team. He currently resides in Dracut, MA, with his wife, Melanie, and two children.

Mr. Richard Bagni RICHARD BAGNI


Richard Bagni, graduated from The Electrical Shop, in 1986, and went on to establish his own business, Bagni Electric, in Billerica, which employs over 10 people. Richard not only runs a successful business, but also participates on the Shawsheen Advisory Committee and provides co-op jobs for Shawsheen students. He is a member of many organizations, an avid sportsman and the father of two children. and is married to another successful graduate, Jill Hamilton Bagni, class of 1987. The Bagnis reside now in Billerica, MA.

Mr. Christian BotteCHRISTIAN BOTTE


Christian Botte graduated from the Internet Technology Program, in 1993, and continued on to become the valedictorian of his senior class at Suffolk University.
Chris received his B.S. in Psychology and has worked for twelve years at the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health Management as their Internet Consultant and Management Level Consultant. While in school, Chris was an active member of the community and was inducted into the National Honor Society during his Junior year. Despite being legally deaf, Chris has taught himself to play piano and is a proud father. He and his wife, Rose, another successful Shawsheen graduate; continue to reside in Wilmington, MA.
